Energy Expert at ENTSOG

Since February 2012, Irina works for the European Network of Transmission System Operators for Gas (ENTSOG) in Brussels.  Irina leads, chairs and supports a group of experts from 26 European countries working on transmission tariff issues in the EU.  For all the other network codes (balancing, capacity allocation, interoperability), Irina provides content and legal support and advice on interpretation.  Irina is responsible for stakeholder management, project coordination and presenting ENTSOG’s position during negotiations and public meetings.  She is a contact person for the European Commission and various energy associations and companies on topics related to the European-wide network codes. Irina Oshchepkova graduated from Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO-University) having received Bachelor’s Degree in International Trade Law and Master’s Degree in International Economic Law (Energy Policy and Diplomacy Department).
